Lakers' Gasol to make long-awaited season debut

| Lakers center Pau Gasol will make his 2009-10 season debut Thursday against the visiting Bulls after missing the first 11 games with a right hamstring injury, said Lakers coach Phil Jackson pregame. |
| "We'll find out tonight," said Jackson of how Gasol will impact the Lakers. "We really haven't had a lot of time on court with him." |
| As for a minute limit, Jackson said it will depend on Gasol. |
| "He'll probably be able to tell," Jackson said. "He hasn't played the game and it'll take the wind out of him right away. We'll see how long he lasts and give him a couple of runs in the first half and see how he does." |
